Director: Cary Fukunaga
Main Characters: Edgar Flores (as Willy 'El Casper'), Paulina Gaitan (as Sayra), and the whole Mara Salvatrucha gang.
In the beggining of this movie there is Casper and he has this girl that he loves. He found this Kid calle Smiley and new member of the Mara Salvatrucha gang. To get in a gang young Smiley had 12 seconds of getting brutally beaten up but whome ever can fit a kick or punch in, basically like getting jumped aka an initiation. If you lie you get 13 seconds of the same shit. You got a girl and you let that be known; bad new for her. Casper is romantically involved with a girl, Martha Marlene, but keeps the relationship a secret from his gang, fearing for the girl's safety. When she follows him to a gathering of his gang, the leader, Lil' Mago (Tenoch Huerta Mejía), insists on escorting her away in private, despite the protests of Casper. Lil' Mago tried and failed the attempt of raping her, Lil' Mago accidentally kills her. He conveys this to Casper, telling him that he'll "find another." Lil' Mago brings Smiley and Casper to La Bombilla, a location along the train tracks where illegal immigrants stow away on passing trains for travel to the United States. Among the illegal immigrants is the Honduran family the viewer has been introduced to consisting of a teenage girl Sayra (Paulina Gaitán), her father, and her uncle, who are on their way to New Jersey to live with relatives. Lil' Mago, Casper, and Smiley rob the passengers for any money they have until Lil' Mago spots Sayra and attempts to rape her. El Casper, still grief-stricken and possibly seeing parallels with Mago's treatment of his girlfriend, intervenes, killing Lil' Mago and urging Smiley off the train. Casper keeps on riding the train North. he knows he has to get far far far away or he will be found and killed. He says that they have a very good memory and a lot of people. Smiley goes back to the gang, telling them what happened. Furious, the gang leader El Sol accuses Smiley of collusion. Smiley timidly protests, begging to be sent to kill Casper to prove his loyalty.Already with in seconds when Smiley goes back and they get guys to start looking for him.Throughout the train ride she watches him on the cart next to him, Sayra keeps approaching Casper with curiosity despite her father's advice, because she sences he is in trouble and tries to help him. She gives him food, company, and ends up liking him, keeping him safe from anyone she sees trieng to kill him. They end up liking eachother and he knows and tell her that he is a dead man and she should stay away. Casper, who has smuggled gang members in the past, knows the nuances of the journey, instructing fellow passengers when to get off the train and run around to avoid immigration officers. At one point, Casper is with Sayra's family and helps them threw the journey. While sleeping together one night he wakes up and slips awayonly to descover that Sayra is with him and silently fallowed him. The two journey north on a car transport, Casper evading local franchises of his gang which are all helping Smiley. After that they take the adventure and both of them hide in the shadows from the Mara Salvatrucha gang who is right on there tails, almost breathing the same air as them. Sayra runs into a familiar face at a immigrant shelter, she asks news of her father and her uncle. She is told "No esta con nosotros". Her father is not with us. He has died. Sayra has memorized a family number of her dead father's second family. She is in the United states not outside a mega mall. She got accross at a river where one can only cross at a time. Casper pays the fee with his digital camera containing his cherished pictures of his murdered girl Martaha Marlene. Casper aka Willy insists Sayra crosses the river first. As she gets half way across the MS13 gang finds Casper and after a chase Smiley encounters him on the river bank and shoots him after he turns into coarsely chopped raw meat and fed to the gang's dogs. Smiley now accepted by his gang, he finally gets a tattoo commemorating his loyalty. Very interesting and exciting movie that keeps you on your toes. I like it alot and action movies that are gang related and have a since of hope and love is more attention grabbing than anything.
I rate this as 10 bloody Kills out of 10 bloody Kills.

In the beginning of this movie Dre and his single mother Sherry have to move to China because of work purposes. They move into a little apartment and the mom seems a little eerie. They have air plain lag. Dre starts school the day after they get there and Sherry starts work. Dre goes to a private school and he has to wear a uniform. So the day that the get to china they un-pack and check things out. Dre goes outside and tries to make friends, he sees some people playing basketball and he joins them. Dre thinks everyone speaks their foreign language so on the whole plain ride he was practicing and tries speaking it with the kids but notify him that they do speak English as well. While he is outside playing he sees this Chinese girl Sitting on a bench in front of the basketball courts reading a book. Dre immediately falls for his classmate Mei Ying - and the feeling is mutual - but cultural differences make such a friendship impossible. For instance that same day when he tries to talk to her and they are enjoying each other Mei Ying's Brother Cheng comes out of the blue yelling at her for talking and not studying. When Cheng through the papers Mei Ying has in her hands on the floor and Dre picks them up and tells the brother to calm down, Cheng is over raged and at first yells at Dre warning him to back off and threatening him or else. Unfortunately Dre stays there, Cheng is upset and decides to fight Dre. Lucky for Dre his feelings make an enemy of the class bully, Cheng. In the land of Kung-Fu, Dre knows only a little karate, and Cheng puts Dre on the floor with ease. With no friends in a strange land, Dre has nowhere to turn. This movie reminds me somewhat of Never Back Down with a similar story line. So by the end of the day Dre is all beaten and bruised up, he puts on his mothers make-up to try and hide it and wears a hat to help shade the mis-colored skin. The next day when Sherry takes Dre to school the person at the private school gate greets people had a conversation with the mother and Dre. At the end of the conversation she says that he cannot wear any hats, it is prohibited. So the mom snatches it off his head saying sorry and then sees the marks on her poor little son. She asks what happened and he says he fell. The mom says no you didn't fall it looks like someone put there fist in your eye and the greeter says fighting is also prohibited and the mom says you heard him he said he fell. That was a funny moment. Sherry pulls her son of to the side for a second and asks what happened and he tells her not to worry about it. He enters the school in fear and has more confrontational meetings with Cheng, because once again he is talking to Mei Ying. Dre meets the maintenance man Mr. Han, he is secretly a master of Kung-Fu. Mr. Han decides helping Dre after seeing him practice in his room when he comes over to fix something with the water and after seeing him get brutally destroyed by Cheng in the courtyard and saving his ass in a little alley way with closed doors there were five kids against little Dre, very unfair, Mr. Han Jumps in and beats them all up. Dre Takes his offer and his happy he found a teacher because the biggest studio that teaches children Kong-Fu is where Cheng goes and the Master there is very evil. As Mr. Han teaches Dre that Kung-Fu is not about punches and parries, but maturity and calm, Dre realizes that facing down the bullies will the fight of his life. How and where is this going to happen? Well Mr. Han went to the studio where Cheng goes and talked to the master Cheng ends up saying that Mr. Han is the one who beat them all up and Mr. Han tries and explains why but the conversation ended up with leave Dre alone until the big battle fight competition and that is when they can do what ever and we will see who will win or loose. Dre is happy about the first part and afraid of the next part. Dre says "Great now they can beat me up and embarrass me public". Mr. Han says yes pretty much. They train every day all day. Teaching him patience and discipline, giving him strength and tons of flexibility, also knowledge about Kung-Fu and how to act on some moves or how to move. Its getting closer and closer to the end and Dre has grown very good, even putting Mr. Han in his place. You will have to watch the end on who wins and the respect gained and the evil man is Cheng'sJaden Smith. Just so moving i watched this movie so many times and it is good for all ages and all occasions i watched it for the first time on a date with my fiance.

Directed by: Jeff Wadlow. Main characters are Sean Faris (as Jake Tyler), Amber Heard (as Baja Miller), Cam Gigandet (as Ryan McCarthy), Evan Peters (as Max Cooperman) and Djimon Hounsou (as Jean Roqua).
Soundtracks: "Rock Star" Written by Lil' Wayne (as Dwayne Carter), Nsilo Kharonde Reddick, Chamillionaire (as Hakeen T. Seriki) and Nicholas W. Sherwood.
Never back down is an encouraging movie that tells a moving story of a young man, Jake Tyler, moves with his family, and he has to get enrolled into a new school. On his first day he finds a boy, Max Cooperman, getting jumped almost by a group of people (Ryan McCarthy and his friends). Jake as a good man wanted to help Max. This confrontation with them is how he gets to meet his "new friends". He gets on with his day, lonely like any normal new kid, looking around and meeting new people. In one class he meets a very beautiful young lady (Baja Miller). Baja and Jake ended up having a talk after class and Jake asked where a class was. Before Baja had driven away with her friends in their car she asked him to go to the party tonight if he wasn't busy. She acted flirty and nice. Baja's boyfriend is Ryan McCarthy. After Ryan meet the new kid Jake and saw his interbition he craved to have him go to his party that night one way or another. But why? Ryan is a master fighter and loves to fight. They (all the kids in that town and skool) set up fights in back yards, clubs, anywhere basically. Ryan is the unbeatable guy "The Champion". Jake ends up going to that party and ends up getting lured into an ultimate underground fighting club in a Backyard Fight. His only friend at this time is really Max, who he meets there. In a few minutes after he arives he meets Jake once again but they are cool, he shows him around and then shows him outside were the people boys and girls are fighting two at a time. When they walk down there to get a closer look. It ends up being a set up and ends up walking into the middle of the circle. Ryan eggs him on, Jake says no! But does he really have a choice? That answer is also no. The people who are making up the circle wont let him leave. Jake ends up fighting and gets brutally beatin up. Jake is in bed for the next couple of days with bruses, trouble moving, excrusiating pain. Max his friend shows him a cd to watch a video of a place were he can train at this mixed martial arts studio. At first he doesn't want to go but for some reason when he wakes up one morning he gets the inspiration to go out there and train and work him self so hard so he can become better than the unbeatable Ryan McCarthy. He hides it from his mother that he is now going to that studio to practice, because knowing her she will say no. Jake is a rebellious teen kid and because of that is the reason why they have to constantly keep moving, he keeps getting kicked out of places. He basically auditions for a spot, either beginers intermediate, or experianced. He got the hightest level. Jake hasn't talkd to Baja in a couple of weeks he is so mad at her. he see's her at skool all the time in class, had to do partnering with her. They deside to talk things out. Baja leaves her boyfriend Ryan and goes to be with Jake. She doesn't like how Ryan's personality is and she says this line "You'r only happy when you'r hurting people". After receiving threats to the safety of his friends and family, Jake seeks the mentoring of a veteran fighter, to train his mind and body for one final no-holds-barred elimination fight with his unrelenting personal nemesis and local martial arts champion Ryan McCarthy. Towards the end with all his training and everything there is a big fighting day called the "Beat Down" at this one club. Jake ends up not caring any more and doesn't want to go. Ryan wanted him to go so they can fight once more and see who will win. To get his way Ryan ends up finding max tricking him into coming to his house and now i guess it was Max's turn to get his ass beat. They go to Jakes house and knock on his door and run, leaving max's body at the bottom of the stairs of his two story apartment. Jake furious ends up going to that club; Baja beggs him not to go and he says "If i don't go, who else is next, you!, my brother!, My mom!, im not going to take that chance win or loose everyone has there fight and this is mine". She says "giving up and walking away are two different things". He says "Good cuz im not doing either one". The main point of this movie is the title "Never Back Down" this is related to Jake Tyler who obviously never backs down or gives up. Too find out the rest i think you guys should watch this movie it is Fantastic, It has love in it, perserverance, challenges, streangths, fights, action, family, a typical teen movie, parents will like it too.I totally recomend this and it never gets old when watching. I forgot how many time i watched this movie; and girls you'll love watching hot guys with there shirts off! "MUSCLES" and boys girls in bikinies!I rate this movie with 10 punches out of 10 punches.
How She Move
How She Move
Director: Ian Iqbal Rashid
Main Characters: Rutina Wesley (as Raya Green), Tre Armstrong (as Michelle), Dwain Murphy (as Bishop), Cle Bennett (as Garvey), Conrad Coates (as David Green, Raya's Dad) and Ingrid Gaynor (as Pam Green, Raya's Mom).
Raya a very smart intellectual girl attends a private school out side of her town and away from her family. Where Raya's mom and dad and sister and herself live is in a bad neighborhood where allot of violence and drugs are all over the place like air. Raya can't watch her sister all the time and can't see if she gets near gangs, into drugs, friends with the wrong people, partying to much, etc. Her sister ended up dying from a drug addiction. Following after that Raya is forced to leave her private school and return to her old, crime-filled neighborhood where she re-kindles a forgotten passion for the competitive world of stepping. She catches up with her old friends goes to the old school once again starting off like a new girl. Step dancing is a thing everyone does around there, always showing off or competing. At lunch three cheerleaders step and act like there the shit and rule the school, These girls are: Michelle, Latoya, and Stacy; and are not to fond of Raya. Raya sees her old friend and lover Bishop performing with his crew and a guy who her sister always hung out with, Garvey. She practices stepping until it hurts so bad she can't move; she finds out about this stepping competition that all the dance crews join and compete in. She asks the captain of this one crew "JSJ" who is Bishop and he says that he can't let a girl in but he auditions her in anyways. She ends up getting in but a guy drops out because of her. Michelle is captain of a girl crew "Phem Phatal" and gets mad that Raya didn't want to be in her crew. So since Michelle always goes into the warehouse where they practice at she stole their same music and moves. So when they go to a little competition Michelle's group goes first and Bishop is pissed but says "lets show them what dun right looks like". So they do and Raya a good freestyler thinks they aren't doing so well doing that same song people are starting to boo. Raya freestyles leaving everyone else not knowing what to do and they stop and it makes it worse. Bishop pissed off kicks her off the team. Bishop has a brother but treats him like shit, a geek, a slave, and thinks he doesn't know how to dance; but little does he know his brother is a really great dancer, writes down allot of moves that he thinks of up in his head, and watches all the moves his brother and his crew practice so he knows everything. So Raya crew-less; See's Garvey a captain of another crew called "Kin Dreadz. He says "I see your in need of a crew Raya, you know my door is always open. Out there i saw you're stepping like a girl who needs to win, not a girl who wants to win"? She gets on his crew and when Bishop finds out he feels so betrayed but he is the one to let her go. Pam Green Raya's mother is a very strict women and Stern, she doesn't want Raya to get into any trouble or into that stuff, so Raya hides it from her mother. This dance competition that Raya is trying so hard to be in and win is a grand prize of $50,000 for the team winner. Her family needs the money and she doesn't want to be in this town no more so this is why Raya lies to her mother and says she is going on a school trip, but instead she is going to the stepping competition. When she starts the competition she is on "Kin Dreadz Dance Crew". But the next level in the competition a whole bunch of family drama happens involving Garvey and Raya, the confrontation is over her sister and a locket she used to always wear. She gets the locket back and meaning so much to her she still sells in needing the money and goes and gives it to the "JSJ Crew" to try and get them back in and on their good side because they needed money as well to keep going in the competition. So now she is with them and she tell Bishop about his brother and they end up coming up with the best choreography ever. Using a car as a prop, the car was used from the warehouse because bishop also works on cars so he is a mechanic. The ending of this movie is awesome, there is sick moves, intense skill, curiosity on who is going to win, friendship builds, the mom finds Raya and they end up working things out, and an irresistible smile come across your face reaching from ear to ear. I love this movie. I recommend this a hundred percent, do WATCH! I love Raya's challenges and her accomplishments, her perseverance, the happiness at the end and my main thing IS YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO NO MATTER WHAT OR HOW IMPOSSIBLE YOU MAY THINK IT IS, and at the end i guarantee you will feel so proud of yourself and so up brought from that experience and this movie makes you feel like you can do anything, you can push for what you need and what you want threw anything. In this case it wasn't i need a job its she worked hard on her studies, tried and makes peoples' life better and their education better, she tried making family better, got excepted into college, and won the money she needed by doing something she loved and showed all her emotion and passion threw dance. Amazing!!!
I rate this movie 10 STEPS out of 10 STEPS.

The Boy In The Stripped Pajamas
Director: Mark Herman
Main Characters: Asa Butterfield (as Bruno), Zac Manttoon O'Brien (as Jewish friend Leon), Vera Farmiga (as Bruno's Mother), David Thewlis (as Bruno's Father).
Origional music by James Horner.
Set during World War II. This is a story seen through the innocent eyes of Bruno the eight-year-old son of the commandant at a concentration camp. They moved closer to it so the dad could work better. Mom has little information of what exactly the dad does for his job. When they move they are around the cruel minds of those solders who come in an out of their house. The daughter immediately changes because she ends up liking one of the men. She turns into a serious girl, she threw all her little kid stuff away and she started cutting out pictures of Nazi signs and showed so much hate towards the Jews. She didn't care what they did and how much information she found out or the horrid things she saw, there was no speck of emotion towards those people. When the boy first went to the house he looked out his window and saw the camp. At first he thought of it as a farm, or a fun place. He was immediately baned from looking threw his window; they boarded it up. He wasn't allowed to talk to the Jewish slave who worked at their house. The slave was an old man, very kind to the boy to. The boy grew more and more curious of the camp and of the people and why they wore stripped pajamas. As the days go by he learns more and more about things and starts to get the idea. One day he sneaks out and he runs toward this camp. He finally reaches it, it is barbed electric wire, and on the other side he saw this Jewish little boy around the same age as him. This boy is Leon, he is scared and hiding. The kids start talking and Bruno doesn't understand at the beginning. Leon is starving, so everyday Bruno brings him food, Leon is lonely, so Bruno plays with him everyday. He will bring games or stuff or just talk. It is a sweet and cute relationship. I grew hatred toward the dad and the sister in this movie for how cold there hearts wore. One day the mom came home from getting some groceries, when she got out of the car there was a horrible smell. It had occurred a couple days ago as well, the family didn't know were it came from besides the dad and his men. So one of the men opened the door for the mom and made the comment "man the more people they put in there the worse it smells". The mom got all wide eyed in shock and amazement that her husband would allow such a thing. She hurries up in the house into his office and yells at him. They get in a fight that lasted almost all night. One of the solders is a fake. His dad went to a camp because he was Jewish and the solder is Jewish but pretending not to be and the commander is starting to ask questions. So at the dinner table one night the dad is asking questions, the solder is getting frustrated and mad. They still have the servant who isn't liking the conversation so much and he so afraid of those men. The old man is serving the solder some wine and he is shaking. He spills a little bit and the solder pushes him threw the dinning room door on this tile and now they are out of sight but you can hear the old man crying; he beats him till he is dead. The next day a lady is cleaning the floor because there is blood stained on it. So to replace the old man Bruno's friend Leon is there drying wine glasses. They are all excited and Bruno asks him if he is hungry. Leon says yes anxiously, but right wen Leon is eating some bread that mad and scary solder that killed that old man the night before comes in threw the doors and sees. All the Jewish people are not fed, no supposed to eat i guess. He starts yelling saying theft and Leon said no my friend gave this to me to eat i am not stealing anything. Poor Leon because Bruno is so scared of what might happen and he lies and says no i have never seen him before he is not my friend; i just came in here and i saw him eating like this. Bruno runs out crying feeling horrible for what he had just did and the little boy is threatened by that guy. Bruno goes up to the camp where him and Leon sit and play and Leon doesn't show up for a whole week. Bruno not understanding completely thinks that they aren't friends any more not thinking that something may have happened. The reason why he thinks so lightly on this is not because he is young but because he watched a movie on that camp making it look so much happier and nicer than it really is. After a while Bruno goes up one more time and sees the Leon. Leon is sitting on the floor with his head down. When he looks up at Bruno his face is all cut up and bruised up. He had gotten beaten for what he was accused for and for what Bruno had lied about. Leon says he is sad because his father is missing and he can't find him anywhere, he has looked all over. Well Bruno's kind heart says i can dig under help you look for your dad with you. So the next day he goes to the camp, Leon had stolen the pajama out fit and a cap to cover his hair. Bruno strips and changes cloths and then goes inside. While he is inside he grows scared noticing how bad it is and nothing like the video. His parents notice he is gone and find out where he has gone they fallow but are too late he is already in the camp. Bruno and Leon are looking and they are in this building, when all these solders and dogs suddenly surround them and take a group of old skinny people and the kids to this place. They are asked to take off all there cloths and go into this small building where they gas and burn all the people. The commodore searching for his son in the camp now notices that people are missing and he must be one of the people in the building. Now he realizes how it feels and that it was wrong because now look at the consequences. The family cries. For me the ending is the best part. I feel bad for the kids but that is what the dad deserved. I recommend this movie it is so sad but definitely worth the watch. I love movies like this. I believe that those camps were so wrong and this movie has a strong & personal message.
I give this movie 10 Tear drops out of 10 tear drops.
